A Salt Lake City law firm and seven of its employees have been charged with immigration fraud in a case federal authorities are calling the largest fraud operation of its kind uncovered in the state, reports Pamela Manson of the Salt Lake Tribune.

An indictment accuses the firm of filing hundreds of petitions that led to the issuance of thousands of fraudulent work visas. The charges included counts of conspiracy, visa fraud, and inducing illegal stays of undocumented workers.
