Public-health officials in Olympia, WA, are warning the public to remain vigilant about the swine flu. At least four Washingtonians have died and at least 98 have been hospitalized, State Health Secretary Mary Selecky told President Obama and other officials in Washington, D.C. What should residents do? Cover your cough, wash your hands frequently and stay home if you’re sick, officials said. In Clatsop County, OR, two new cases of the disease were reported Thursday, although we can’t tell you much about that because The Daily Astorian has that story behind its pay wall.
